John G. Preston
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Preston has a 30 year career in process measurement and
automation across a broad range of materials production. He
had a 22 year career with Honeywell-Measurex Corporation, initially
helping this multi-national organization build the plastics
industry in Europe. Following was a series of Executive positions,
President European Industrial systems Division, President European
Operations, President and CEO of Measurex-Devron, General Manager
World-wide Paper Business.
Russell L. Kerschmann, M.D.
Chairman of the Board
Dr. Kerschmann has a background in pathology with over 25
years of experience in laboratory management and expertise
in laboratory information systems and biomedical imaging.
He founded Microscience Group Inc.'s precusor company, Resolution
Sciences Corporation, in 1995, after having invented, developed,
and patented the company's core DVI technology. Dr. Kerschmann
obtained his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts
and performed residency training at Massachusetts General
Hospital in Boston while on faculty at Harvard University.
Dr. Kerschmann has served on the faculties of major academic
and private medical centers, including the University of Massachusetts
and the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Kerschmann
is currently the Chief of Life Sciences at NASA Ames Research
Center in Mountain View, CA.
John G. Lucan
Senior Vice President for Sales and Services
Mr. Lucan possesses over 30 years of sales and sales management
experience. Over the last 15 years, he managed the worldwide
sales forces for several high technology companies where he
was successful in the significant growth of direct sales and
in the development of sales channels through sales agents,
distributors, and resellers. Mr. Lucan holds a Bachelor of
Science and Master of Science degrees in Engineering from
University of California at Los Angeles.
In addition, the company has on its staff a talented group of
computer graphics and image analysis software engineers, organic
chemists, and experts in computer image cytometry and digital
microscopy, as well as highly qualified administrative personnel.
